 FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN AND YOUNG FIVES – FALL 2012 

Beginning fall of 2012, Portage Public Schools will provide full day Kindergarten and Young Fives to the children in our district.    Each elementary will host Kindergarten classrooms.  It has not been determined which schools will host Young Fives classrooms.  Please contact your child’s school or look at the district website for updates as they come. HALF DAY PRESCHOOL FOR THREE AND FOUR YEAR OLDS 

Please be reminded that Curious Kids offers half day Preschool for three and four year old children.  We have many children who attend child care for part of the day, Preschool for the other part!  Please inquire about our Preschool program today!

Curious Kids is a licensed Child Care and Preschool program offering structured activities in a safe and caring environment. We support Portage Public School students as well as children living in Portage and the surrounding area. Child care is open to all children in the community from ages 6 weeks through middle school. All locations promote positive social interactions and offer interesting and fun activities for the children.

Curious Kids @ Milham – Child care is provided for children 6 weeks until school age in our Preschool Age Child Care (PACC) program. School Age Child Care (SACC) is available for children who attend Haverhill and Central Elementary schools. Transportation is provided to and from each of these schools to Curious Kids at Milham. Child Care is also available for students who attend North Middle School. Enrolled students walk to and from school, no transportation is provided. All programs are open from 6:30 – 6:30 Monday – Friday. Meals and snacks are provided. We are located in the Portage Community Education Center (PCEC) at 1010 W. Milham, Portage, MI 49024. Curious Kids Off-Sites – Child care is provided at the child’s own school. We currently offer on-site care at Angling Road, Amberly, Lake Center, Moorsbridge, Woodland and 12th Street. Child care is available from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. Meals and snacks are provided. Summer child care will be held at the Milham, 12th St., and Lake Center sites only.
